These terms cover bookings, gift vouchers and shop orders with Beyond The Drive. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
1. Independence from Land Rover
Beyond The Drive is an independent business. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover Limited, JLR or Land Rover. Your booking is a contract with Beyond The Drive only, and Jaguar Land Rover and its dealers are not a party to it and are not responsible for the event. Land Rover and DEFENDER are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the vehicles you bring and the instruction we offer.
2. Assumption of risk and liability
By attending this event, you acknowledge that off-road driving involves inherent risks. Beyond The Drive, its staff and event partners are not liable for any personal injury, vehicle damage or loss that may occur during the experience, except as the ACL requires. Participants are responsible for following all safety instructions provided by the organisers.
3. Refund and cancellation policy
Tickets for this event are non-refundable, except as required by the ACL. If Beyond The Drive cancels or significantly changes the event, attendees may be eligible for a refund or a rescheduled event date.
4. Privacy and data collection
Beyond The Drive respects your privacy. Any personal information collected during registration or participation is used only for event administration and safety purposes. Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent. Our full Privacy Policy explains the detail.
5. Media and photography consent
By attending this event, you consent to photography and videography, which may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media and marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in media content, please inform event staff upon arrival.
6. Compliance with Australian law
Beyond The Drive operates under Victorian road safety regulations and the Australian Consumer Law. Participants are expected to comply with all relevant laws and venue policies.
7. The experience
- You bring your own DEFENDER. It must be roadworthy, registered and insured, and the driver must hold a valid licence.
- Each day is limited to 14 vehicles. Arrival is from 8:30am, driving starts at 9:00am and the day finishes at 4:00pm.
- Follow the instructors' directions and use the two-way radios as instructed. We may ask anyone to sit out a section if we judge it necessary for safety.
- Children under 15 must be with a parent or guardian at all times.
8. Gift vouchers
Vouchers are available for 2 adults, 4 adults, a family (2 adults and up to 3 children under 15), or a chosen amount of $100 or more. A voucher is valid for 3 years from purchase, can be transferred, and is emailed within 24 hours of purchase. A chosen-amount voucher is redeemed toward a DEFENDER Experience Day, and any difference in price is paid at booking.
9. Prices, payment and shop orders
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Payment is taken at checkout on Wix's secure platform. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. If a shop item arrives faulty or not as described, contact us and we will remedy it as the ACL requires.
10. $50 merchandise credit
- When you book and pay for a Beyond The Drive Experience Day, we email you a single-use $50 merchandise credit code, normally within 24 hours of purchase.
- The credit takes $50 off one shop order with a subtotal of $150 or more. It cannot be used on Experience Days or gift vouchers, cannot be combined with another coupon, has no cash value and is not refunded or replaced if lost.
- It expires 12 months after it is issued. If an Experience Day booking is refunded or cancelled, the credit is withdrawn if it has not been used.
- This is a promotional offer and may be changed or ended at any time for future bookings. It does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
